Tom is the “go to” coach for dozens of Fortune 500 executives when it comes to leadership and effective communication. He created the FIRE-UP Your Presentations System in 1986 to empower the sales teams he built as the National Sales Manager for Robbins Research International. Those sales teams shattered records and delivered over 200% annual sales growth for every year Tom was there. Tom is passionate about helping people break through their limitations and create breakthrough results. He believes that every human being has the potential to be an outstanding communicator and he’s been on a mission since 1986 to help as many people possible fulfill that promise.

Tom has delivered over 2,000 trainings in 24 different countries for audiences as large as 18,000 people and his trainings and books have been translated into 10 languages. As a peak performance expert he has also coached 4 athletes who went on to win Olympic Gold Medals as well as his daughter Kylie who was a Parade All-American soccer player and NCAA National Champion at UCLA and his son Tommy who was a highly recruited basketball player currently playing for Harvard.

Tom is a graduate of the University of North Carolina where he received a degree in Speech Communications and was a member of the nationally ranked football team. He and his wife Stacy, a health and wellness expert, live in Rancho Santa Fe, CA.

David has been a key architect of the FIRE-UP Your Presentations Training since 1995. He brings decades of expertise into every FIRE-UP Training he facilitates and he consistently receives rave reviews. As the Chief Training Officer, David is also responsible for the selection and training of all the FIRE-UP Peak Performance Coaches as well as maintaining the highest level of training delivery and client satisfaction. David has conducted FIRE-UP Trainings throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia, India and Australia and has personally helped over 10,000 people dramatically raise their level of performance and results. Through his leadership, the FIRE-UP Training has been consistently recognized as the highest rated program in Cisco System’s prestigious Sales Associate Training Program.

In addition to his consistent track record of success in the training industry, which began with a senior sales leadership role with Robbins Research International, David has also helped build two successful technology companies as their Vice President of Sales. His expertise in leadership, sales and persuasive communication make David one of the most sought after experts in the field of delivering presentations.

David is a 1987 graduate of the University of North Carolina. He lives in La Costa, CA with his wife Lisa and his daughter Rachel.

Jewell Tonkel

Jewell was first exposed to the FIRE-UP Training organization when she was a client of FIRE-UP at Cisco Systems. At Cisco, Jewell was instrumental in building leading edge curriculum for Cisco’s global sales team. Her excellence was rewarded by her being named to President’s Club for 5 straight years for her contributions to accelerating Cisco’s global sales results.

Prior to Cisco, Jewell was responsible for Sales Training at WebEx Global. Jewell was an early pioneer in the use of collaborative, web-based training tools and implementing blended learning for measurable results. At WebEx Jewell successfully trained over 1,000 new Worldwide Sales Representatives, which enabled WebEx to achieve 30% year over year revenue growth. Her programs reduced the average ramp time of new hires by 50%. Jewell’s leadership contributed to WebEx’s market leadership and their ultimate acquisition by Cisco Systems.

Jewell is passionate about orchestrating customized learning that has huge impact on an organization’s results. As a recognized expert in the sales training field, Jewell is frequently asked to help organizations around the world adopt her breakthrough ideas to achieve breakthroughs with their sales teams.

Jewell has a BA degree from Furman University, K-12 Teaching Credentials from Clemson University and a Masters Degree in Library Science from USC. She lives in Honolulu Hawaii with her husband.

Arthur Schwartz

Arthur is an executive business coach, award-winning sales trainer, and long-time mentor. He has trained over 20,000 people in the last twenty years in sales, sales management, and presentation training.

Arthur embarked on his first sales journey successfully selling Life and Health insurance. During his tenure, he developed a passion for helping others achieve their goals. This led him to sell Dale Carnegie training where he was responsible for growing the fastest territory spanning over 60 countries. He has been a top performing sales rep in three global sales organizations. He has managed top performing sales teams, and he’s led revenue producing sales initiatives across those organizations.

Cynthia Freeman

Cynthia Freeman is a coaching pioneer. An MCC (master certified coach) and veteran of over 25 years of coaching experience, she has worked with over 2,400 clients including AT&T, Cisco, Disney, and thousands of small business owners and entrepreneurs.

Cynthia has accomplished all of this while maintaining a family-friendly lifestyle. Even when closing over 200 real estate deals a year with 6 full-time assistants, she never worked weekends, took 10 weeks off per year, and fully participated in the lives and educations of her 2 children.

She is one of the few who can say that they have exceeded the ½ of 1% in TWO careers. 2,400+ clients later, she still has a passion for helping business owners and entrepreneurs to make more money while taking more time off to live more vibrant lives.

Michael Hutchinson

Michael is a best-selling author, high performance sales leader, and master presentation coach. He is passionate about helping others become more successful in today’s ever-changing business environment.

Michael has built leading field and inside sales teams and is responsible for achieving record revenue and market share growth.

Michael began his sales career with Ross Perot and Electronic Data Systems(EDS). He is the author of the best-selling book “Speaking Mastery”.

Michael attended and played football and Lacrosse at Georgetown University where he received a BA degree in Government. He lives in Orlando, FL.

Lisa Marie Jenkins is an executive coach, consultant, and presentation training facilitator.

Prior to joining Fire Up Training & Development, Lisa spent over 20 years at Fortune 500 hi-tech companies in senior sales and marketing roles, including Cisco, Xerox, and Tech Data. She recently published her first book – Wake Up, Beauty! It’s not about the Prince, and is a regular blog contributor to the Huffington Post.

Robert Lunte

Robert is one of the world’s leading experts on vocal technique training for speaking professionals. He is the author of the bestselling book, “The Four Pillars of Singing” which has sold in over 90 countries worldwide. Robert has facilitated nearly 80 master classes and clinics in 8 countries, and trained many professional coaches.

Prior to Robert becoming a certified master trainer he was a top sales leader in the telecommunications and High Technology Industries. During his leadership, he was responsible for growing the Northwest territories.

Robert is a graduate of the University of Miami school of business. He is also an active member of The Grammy’s Association, The National Association of Teachers of Singing, The Voice Foundation and the British Voice Association. He resides in Seattle, WA.

Dave Pemberton

Before joining our team, he was a sales leader with Xerox Corporation and Stromberg Carlson. He was also responsible for producing large-scale seminar events that featured speakers like Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, & Dr. James Loehr and during this period he delivered hundreds of keynote presentations and workshops for clients, large and small, from all type industries.

David is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, BA in Economics and lives in Greenwood Village, CO with his wife Kim and daughters Caroline and Claire.
